Lizzy Rivera Colindres returned home last night (February 11) shortly before midnight. She and the baby boy, Aidan, were in good health. We will continue to work with the family and provide assistance as needed.

Detectives are still searching for 16-year-old Lizzy and her 5-month-old baby boy, Aidan. She was initially reported missing on January 15 and detectives believe despite indications she left voluntarily with the baby’s father, she might have left out of fear of him. There have been ongoing issues in court between them, to include a protective order against him. Lizzy and her baby are still entered as missing endangered juveniles.
Detectives continue to work tirelessly to follow tips and leads to find Lizzy and her baby and return them safely home to her mother, but still need your help. They are releasing a photo of the baby’s father, Jose Castillo Rivas. If you see him, call the police immediately.
He is described as Hispanic, with a medium complexion, 18 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is from the Springfield area.
