Early in the morning of July 4, Fairfax County Police Department officers responded to the 13300 block of Franklin Farm Road for an attempted robbery at the Sunoco gas station. Officers quickly identified and arrested the suspect, Mohamed Abdullahi, 19, of Herndon. While checking the gas station, the store clerk, 40 year-old Resham Bajgain, of Herndon, was found unresponsive with upper body trauma. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of death. Abdullahi is being held without bond.
